MK Amir Ohana (Likud) attacked Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit after he decided not to send representatives to the Interior Committee to discuss complaints against retired Police Major General Roni Ritman.
"The Attorney General exaggerated: The Knesset is the public - and the adviser is a public servant. In his decision not to send his representatives to the Interior Committee, he hurt the public and himself, " Ohana said.
MK Ohana, chairman of the national law drafting committee, said that "until the matter is settled with MK Yoav Kisch, I will not allow the attorney general or his representatives to speak on the committee I chair."
