A hearing is scheduled in the Central District Court in Lod, Thursday morning, on the request for the release of a minor being held in connection with the arson death of three people in the Samarian Palestinian Authority village of Duma in late July 2015.
Attorney Adi Keidar of the Honenu legal-aid organization, representing the minor, together with attorney Zion Amir, stated: "We are all hopeful that after a two-and-a-half year struggle in which the minor's statements were eventually disqualified, and in light of all the serious consequences that were caused during his interrogation and detention, the court will order his release rom detention, as was even recommended by the probation service."
