The housing cabinet has approved a plan initiated by Interior Minister Aryeh Deri and his staff, in cooperation with Minister of Religious Services Rabbi David Azoulay and his ministry's director general, for a systemic solution to the problem of burial space in the center of the country.
According to the plan, a cemetery will be built that will cover 270 dunams at the Qasem Junction near Rosh Ha'ayin and will provide burial solutions for the next 50 years.
