Deputy Attorney General Raz Nizri has joined the criticism of the clause in the Nationality Law that would allow the establishment of Jewish-only communities and called for its removal from the law.
Nizri said, "We see a very serious legal problem in the clause. It stands out in its deviations. It permits personal discrimination of a citizen only because of national affiliation. I say to the supporters of the law: You are staining the Nationality Law in vain."
