MK Meir Cohen (Yesh Atid) submitted an urgent request for the Knesset to debate the joint statement of Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Polish Prime Minister regarding Poland's role in the Holocaust. "This is a serious historic distortion of the most sensitive issue for our people," Cohen said. "The declaration is a tool for Holocaust deniers and it is liable to lead to a situation in which other countries will seek to adopt the model and rid themselves of their responsibility for the murder of Jews."
