A criminal detainee set fire (Thursday) morning in a shower blanket in his cell. Jailers put out the fire and evacuated the prisoners. There were no casualties.
The Prison Service says that in recent years there has been an increase in the number of deliberate arson attacks, and this is the 23rd arson incident since the beginning of 2018.
