Border Police officers have detained a resident of the northern Israeli-Arab village of Umm al-Qutuf in his forties on suspicion of stealing 112 kilograms of mangos from orchards in the Zichron Yaakov area.
The suspect was allegedly found to be picking the fruit, yesterday, during a Border Police search of the orchards. Searches of the area produced a vehicle that was allegedly used by the suspect. In the vehicle were sacks and buckets full of the fruit.
