Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said on Tuesday morning that there is no room to maneuver changes to the military enlistment law, which passed its first reading in the Knesset earlier in the morning.
Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, Liberman said, "The haredim want to lift the sanctions in the legislation. These things are out of the question. If they want to make cosmetic changes, a comma here and a comma there, I will not be insistent, but we will not change substantive things in the outline."
