Chairman Avi Dichter of the Knessete Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee has welcomed the Knesset's passage of a bill he co-sponsored to deduct salaries paid by the Palestinian Authority to terrorists and their families from funds that Israel transfers to the PA.
Writing on Twitter, the former head of the Shabak Israel Security Agency said, "As I promised: Today we have finally passed the law to offset salaries for terrorists. The people of Israel lives! Israel will not be a conduit for transferring funds to terrorists."
