Umm El-Fahm: Suspected of transporting PA illegals again

Border Police stopped a car carrying four residents of the Samarian Palestinian Authority city of Jenin in the northern Israeli Arab city of Umm El-Fahm, who were there illegally, along with a driver from Umm El-Fahm.

An examination of the details of the suspects revealed that the driver was arrested last month for transporting illegal aliens. In that incident, his car was confiscated and he was detained for questioning, at the end of which he was released until the indictment was prepared against him. Two of the PA residents were arrested and two were returned to the PA. Following a hearing today at the Magistrates Court in Hadera, the driver was released to house arrest pending an indictment for the two incidents in which he is suspected.
