The Ministerial Committee on Legislation has endorsed the Ministry of Communications' bill to cancel the split of the public broadcasting corporation, whose goal is to enable the Eurovision Song Contest to be held next year in Israel.
Two additional bills relating to the corporation were not discussed. They were a proposal to cancel the transfer of educational television to the corporation and a proposal to tighten the corporation's budgetary supervision.
