Israel's Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi David Lau said at a conference on Sunday that the Jewish State should make use of provisions in the law allowing it to jail 'Get' refusers. According to the rabbi, the measure was not designed to punish, but to pressure one who was preventing his wife from getting a Jewish divorce.
