Heavy pressure is exerted on Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas ahead of the arrival of the adviser and son-in-law of US President Trump Jared Kushner and special envoy Jason Greenblatt, Palestinian Authority sources told Israel Hayom newspaper.

According to the report, the pressure on Abbas comes from senior figures in the Palestinian leadership in Ramallah and from senior officials in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan. The pressures focus on the demand to lift the boycott imposed on the Trump administration and the American peace plan, and meet with Kushner and Greenblatt as part of their trip to the region.
