Avi Gabbay, chairman of the Zionist Union, again claims that the report in Maariv, in which former chief of staff Benny Gantz was offered to head the Labor Party, is incorrect.
"Benny Gantz is a worthy person and we would be happy if he joined the Labor Party, he talks to us and he talks to others, and I hope that in the end he will choose the Labor Party."
