Citing the Egyptian newspaper Al-Yaum Al-Saba', Channel 10 Television has reported that Egyptian security forces have succeeded in arresting an Islamic extremist group affiliated with the Islamic State terror movement in the Damietta province in the northeastern part of the country.
The squad includes four brothers and a young woman who planned to carry out acts of terror against essential and security installations in the country. Members of the cell were transferred for questioning.
