Following the eruption of the volcano in Guatemala, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs immediately released emergency assistance amounting to $10,000 for the purchase of emergency equipment (medicine, food and blankets) for the victims.
Later in the day, an evaluation will be made with Guatemalan authorities.
At least 25 people were killed in the eruption of the volcano.
