A year after a terrorist ramming and knifing attack on the London Bridge, in which eight people were killed and 48 wounded, the Ministry of Homeland Security in Britain has reported that 23,000 people are defined as "terrorist threats" and security services have an interest in 3,000 more.

In addition, 20,000 British citizens have been interrogated by security officials and are still a threat even though their investigation ended without results. The ministry also reported that British security services thwarted 12 terror attacks since March 2017.
