Former Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) chief MK Avi Dichter (Likud) on Friday rejected the television report which claimed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu ordered the wiretapping of the heads of the defense establishment.

"The publication in the program Uvda, according to which Prime Minister Netanyahu instructed to tap the phones of the head of the Mossad and the Chief of Staff - is a lie. I know it's a lie, and former Mossad chief Tamir Pardo also knows it's a lie. There is no such thing that a prime minister asks the Shin Bet chief to listen to a particular person, let alone a Mossad chief or Chief of Staff. This is a false report."
