Chairman Moshe Feiglin of the Zehut (Identity) Party responded to the mortar attack on Gaza-area communities by asking, "What would happen if a rocket was fired from a known location and landed this morning near a kindergarten in England or the US. Would the reaction be a casual shooting at an empty position?"

Writing on Twitter in response to past retaliations by Israel to attacks from Gaza, he continued, "What a lousy concept we invented 'to charge the batteries of legitimacy.' Why do we need a pile of children's bodies in order to have legitimacy to do what needs to be done - just win!"
