The Antitrust Authority announced, Monday, that it has opened a criminal investigation in conjunction with the Israel Police anti-corruption unit against 14 transportation companies for suspected offenses of coordinating competitive bids, receiving fraudulently and money laundering, according to the Marker financial publication.

Apparently, these are bus companies that provide transportation services for organized tours and other transportation services. The authority also reported that a hearing on extending the detention of four suspects in the Rishon Letzion Magistrate's Court will be held soon. It refused to give further details about the identity of the companies and the customers of the tenders.
