Thousands gathered on Thursday in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, to celebrate Israel's 70th Independence Day.
The event, which was attended by senior government officials and the local community and an Israeli representative from the Australian Embassy, included a procession of flags on the streets of the city and ended with a huge conference.
