Veteran journalist Yaakov Ahimeir said on Thursday that a number of Knesset members are right for refusing to sign a document to oust hostile Arab Member of Knesset Hanin Zoabi.
Writing on Twitter, Ahimeir said, "Zoabi's presence in the Knesset is a sign that there is a tolerant, parliamentary democracy in Israel. Her removal will turn MK Zoabi into a heroine and legend in the eyes of many. It is better to tolerate her cursing because every other step will only hurt."
