Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon told the Kulanu Party's Knesset faction meeting on Monday that his ministry's Mechir Lemishtaken Buyer's Price affordable-housing program will offer 6,000-8,000 residential units in demand areas in this July's lottery for qualifying first-time house purchasers
Kahlon noted "For the first time in more than a decade, [housing] prices have fallen on an annual basis, since the beginning of the year housing prices have fallen by 2.7 percent, and if the current pace continues, we are talking about an annual rate of about 8 percent."
