Interior Minister Aryeh Deri met with the leaders of the Golan Heights on Thursday afternoon, following the escalation of security tensions in the region.
He said at the start of the meeting, "The heads of the municipalities are our long arm and the government has the strength to carry out its policy with the help of the good work they carry out."
