Avi Gabbay, who chairs the Labor Party and leads the Zionist Union, said on Thursday that Wednesday evening's Israeli attack on Syria in response to an Iranian rocket attack on the Golan Heights is only part of the solution.
Speaking at the Herzliya Conference, Gabbay said, "The concept that the Iranians should be prevented from turning Syria into another front is correct and accurate, and it requires extensive attacks, but the big solutions are diplomatic, economic and strategic, which are in the hands of the political echelon."
