The owners of the Aroma Tel Aviv chain have decided to add the city's Menachem Begin branch to the Tzohar rabbinical organization's private kashrut certification. Until now, the branch has operated without supervision and served meat and dairy dishes side by side. Not only will the branch will be under Tzohar's supervision, it will stop working on Shabbat. Welcoming the move, a statement by Tzohar said, The Aroma chain's joining is a significant milestone for the organization to reach the goal of increasing the number of kosher eaters in Israel."
"We are pleased that one of the largest cafes in Israel, which was open on Saturdays and holidays, will now be supervised by Tzohar's food control system," says Tzohar.
