Chairman Yoav Kish of the Knesset Interior Committee has delayed a vote on a bill to amend the municipal elections law, preparing it for second and third readings, so that the law will also apply to local authorities in Judea and Samaria.
Kish said that he would convene a detailed discussion on Monday, at the end of which it would be decided to apply all the laws relating to the elections in the local authorities to Judea and Samaria, and not just the current proposal, as proposed by the cabinet.
