Minister Yisrael Katz has welcomed the release of Elor Azariya, the soldier who served nine months in prison on a manslaughter conviction for killing a wounded terrorist in 2016.
Katz said, "I appeal to President Reuven Rivlin to act now to erase Elor's criminal record in order to enable him to integrate into civilian life and to continue his life in a proper way."
