Member of Knesset Benny Begin (Likud) has attacked the endorsement of the Ministerial Committee for Legislation of a proposal to allow the Knesset to override Supreme Court vetoes of legislation.
Interviewed by Israeli public radio, Begin said, "I will vote against this flawed bill. The Ministerial Committee on Legislation has turned itself into an arena of competition with extremism. It was a wildly political exercise."
