State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan decided on Tuesday to close the investigation into the January 2017 demolition of buildings in the Negev Bedouin community of of Umm al-Hiran, during which village resident Ya'qub Abu-Al-Qian drove over two police officers, killing one and wounding another.
Al-Qian was shot to death by other officers. Nitzan said, "There is no reasonable suspicion of offenses by the policemen who carried out the shooting at the Umm al-Hiran events."
