Member of Knesset Elazar Stern (Yesh Atid) has welcomed reports of the publication of a tender for the position of Knesset rabbi that will be open to both sexes.
Stern said, "I am familiar with the role of the Knesset rabbi and am convinced that there are enough women who can fill it in a good and dignified way. I hope that a woman will be elected."
