Acting on intelligence information, Border Police officers have raided a huge factory for the manufacture of counterfeit vodka, whiskey and wine in the Israeli-Arab Kafr Bara local council in the Sharon region. The plant operated without permits and under poor sanitary conditions.
Thousands of bottles of fake alcohol were seized, along with machines for forging stickers. The owner and three suspects who worked in the factory were detained for questioning.
