A man was hit and killed by a passing railroad train after entering the track area near Kibbutz Hahotrim.
As a result, one track was closed, as was the Atlit station and other disruptions in rail traffic followed. Some of the trains arriving from the north will end at the Hof Carmel Station in Haifa and some of the trains from the south will end at the Binyamina station.
