Police have arrested the driver of a rented van that ran over pedestrians at the intersection of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue in Toronto on Monday afternoon.
The casualty picture is not clear. There are reports of two dead among about 10 believed to have been hit. The Foreign Ministry says it does not know of Israeli casualties.
