Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has ordered a delay in discussion by the Ministerial Committee on Legislation of a measure to allow the Knesset to override the Supreme Court if it strikes down laws it passes.
The delay was a condition set by Chief Justice Esther Hayut for a meeting with Netanyahu and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked on the subject.
