The Spokesman's Office of the Israel Defense Forces says shelling reported on by Arab media was in response to three suspects who crossed the security fence in northern Gaza and returned the way they came.
Contrary to the Arab report of the terrorists using light weapons, the IDF said there is no known shooting at our forces or a security incident in the adjacent Israeli community. The circumstances of the crossing are being examined.
