Avshalom Kor and Noam Gershuni have been selected to light torches at the Independence Eve celebrations on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
Doctor Kor is a popular Hebrew-language specialist and Gershuni is a former military helicopter pilot who became a paralympian due to wounds received on duty.
