The Israel Defense Forces Spokesman said Tuesday morning that the investigation into the ramming of a hitchhiking station at the Gitai Evyashar Junction in Samaria is continuing.
Based on the initial investigation, the spokesman said, "There was a chase after a stolen vehicle, during which the driver collided head-on with the hitchhiking station, got out of the vehicle and began to flee. Soldiers standing near the spot noticed the suspect and shot in his direction. The driver received medical treatment there and later died of his wounds."
