Former Knesset Member Hashem Mahameed passed away on Tuesday morning at the age of 73.
Mahameed previously served as mayor of Umm El-Fahm and was also a member of the Higher Arab Monitoring Committee. His funeral is scheduled for 12:30 at the Abu-Bakr Mosque in the Mahameed neighborhood of Umm El-Fahm.
