A poll conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute and Tel Aviv University shows that most Jews in Israel (63%) clean their homes from chametz for Passover and make sure not to eat chametz outside the home (67%).
Despite this, 59% of Jews oppose the prohibition on offering chametz in restaurants and cafes on Passover.
