The official value of the shekel rose an average of .199 percent on Tuesday against all the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.487, down .115 percent from Monday, while the Euro declined .164 percent to 4.3258 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.9202 shekels, down .928 percent.
