Chairman Yair Lapid of the Yesh Atid Party attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Monday during a Knesset session regarding the corruption investigations against Netanyahu. He said, "Mr. Prime Minister, you have done good things for the people of Israel, but enough! For the good of our children, for this country we both love, the time has come for us to thank you for everything you have done. The time has come for you to get off the podium."
Lapid continued, "An Israeli prime minister who has a drop of responsibility left, cannot say on his Facebook [page] that the police and the State Prosecutor's Office are pressuring state witnesses to lie. He cannot tell citizens that we must not rely on the legal authorities."
