The Council of Torah Sages of the Agudath Israel party approved on Sunday evening the updated version of the draft law, and permitted the MKs to vote in favor of it in the Ministerial Committee for Legislation on Monday.
The law is expected to be approved in a preliminary reading in the Knesset this coming Wednesday.
