Helicopter-borne personnel from the Israel Defense Forces and the police recently trained with local security coordinators and other ground forces to deal with explosive incidents on the northern border.
For four days, the forces practiced scenarios such as the infiltration of an enemy into Israeli territory and the rapid and efficient evacuation of wounded to Air Force helicopters. A senior officer called the exercises a success.
