21,301 households registered for the Finance Ministry's Mechir Lemishtaken "occupant price" lottery for affordable housing for first-time home owners in 27 new localities by the midnight Saturday night deadline.
With the completion of the examination of the applications, the lottery process will begin, with more than 6,000 additional households expected to be told that they have won the lottery for a reduced price on their first apartment.
