Shas MK Yaakov Margi said that the Lithuanian-haredi UTJ faction did not consult with his party before threatening to topple the government if a law granting draft deferments to yeshiva students was not passed.
"With all my respect for Yaakov Litzman, and I love him and his friend, he did something that partners do not do, and friends do not. Before he placed the ultimatum, he had to first consult with his colleagues, the senior coalition partners - these being the Degel Hatorah and Shas factions," said Margi.
