Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein on Monday evening apologized to the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem, Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar, who was forced to wait at the entrance to the Knesset for 40 minutes after being denied entry to the building.
The Behadrei Haredim revealed that Rabbi Amar came to participate in the launching of a new lobby for the preservation of Jewish cemeteries around the world. Due to a technical error, however, entry permits were not issued to those who were invited and Rabbi Amar was forced to wait about 40 minutes outside before leaving.
