Retired police major general Menashe Arbiv, former head of the Lahav unit 433 police anti-fraud unit, was convicted on Thursday of not fulfilling an official duty as part of a plea bargain in the case of Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, who served a one-year sentence for bribing Arbiv's superior, Brigadier General Ephraim Bracha.
