About 50 Knesset members, including coalition members, have signed a petition calling on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to recall the Israeli ambassador to Poland, in light of the crisis surrounding Poland's Holocaust law and the Polish prime minister's remarks on the subject, according to Israel's public broadcasting corporation.
The petition's initiator, MK Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin (Zionist Union), said that "the fact that Holocaust denial has become the norm, and that the tone is coming from above, left no choice."
