Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu marked the 26th anniversary of the passing of former prime minister Menachem Begin, recognizing Begin as one "who fought for Israel's independence and the fortification of the strength of our country.
Netanyahu continued, "He knew that only if we were strong could we ensure our existence. We will remember him and we will continue on his path."
